10 days in Maui

Maui is a beautiful island with lots of tropical palm trees, and the sweet smell of saltwater from the ocean. I spent about ten days on this beautiful island with my boyfriend's family. On the first day, we flew to Maui, and when we arrived at our condo, we walked across the street to the Kihei to watch the sunset. Most of our time was spent on the beach and snorkeling among the reefs. Some days we traveled into town and would stop at the ABC store to get souvenirs or anything else we might have needed. One night we had amazing fish tacos at a trendy restaurant I can't think of. It was right across the street from the water and hidden among an outdoor market filled with little shops and stands with unique items for sale. We drove to Maalaea and went snorkeling. We also drove up to a beach where we got to see about 50 giant sea turtles.

We had breakfast at Nalu's, which was a cute restaurant that had wild chickens running around under the tables. I had a delicious dragon fruit and acai bowl when we ate there.
